Potluck at Dragon’s Condo

May 29th, 2006 by leonmah

Sunday, Jo, Clarice, Bong2 and I met up together in Masjid Jamek for a potluck party at Dragon & Anas’ condo. Bong2 brought homemade garlic & hotdog breads whiel Jo & Clarice brought fruits i.e. strawberry, kiwi, papaya, honeydew etc. They’re planning to buy ice-creams nearby the condo so they don’t melt so soon. As for me, initially I planned to get McD’s chicken nuggets, then Jo asked me to share with them the fruits and ice-creams so I agreed. Changed to Star at Masjid Jamek to Maluri where it’s 5 mins drive from the station to their condo. Waited for Arjuna. Man, the stuffs we were carrying weren’t the least light and plus with the hot and humid weather, it’s already giving us a toll. Waited and waited but Arjuna had yet to show up. Frustrated, we all decided to call him ‘Mangkok’ (Jo’s term for stupid LOL). When he finally arrived, made him pay the taxi fare to dragon’s place for his punishment hehe.

Brunsfield Cityview as the condo was called were all brightly painted yellow buildings, very recognisable even from a distance. Got down and started looking for a departmental store to buy the ice-creams but couldn’t find any. Spotted a provision shop across. Passed the overhead bridge into the shop just to realise they sell in sticks and cones but none in containers. I had an idea, since kaima & kai yeh had yet to reach, we asked them to buy the ice-creams for us instead.

Dragon lead us up to his condo. Interestingly, the lift was built such a way that when you pressed the button to your destination level, it won’t light up/accessable ..unless you touched with the resident’s door key card. Finally got to dragon’s doorstep. Inside present was dragon’s dad, Anas & Anas’ cousin. They’ve prepared a really giant dish of spaghetti which smelled really great. Jo & I prepared the fruits while awaiting the rest to arrive. Kai ma, kai yeh, anita, mash, shahrul all turned up. Had to have the ice-creams first as dragon’s refrigerator’s not available yet before they melted completely. Lots of great food and began feasting, having the blast of time. Kenny called..saying he’s locked behind the emergency staircase on the same level as dragon’s condo. Surprised as to how did he ended up being there in the first place? Dragon went to release the lock, as he came in and started explaining what happened. LOL practically it was my fault for not telling him to wait at the lobby for dragon to bring him up. It was so happened that a resident was living on the floor above dragon’s offer him up to that level where he used the emergency staircase to descend one level down, only to be locked from inside LOL. He got both me & Arjuna our belated bday presents, which both contained a CD; mine was Lo’s The Fall while Arjuna’s Bo Bice’s The Real Thing. Alamak..I’d rather pick Bo Bice’s CD instead LOL. Initially Kenny wanted to get me Carrie Underwood’s Some Hearts but the store he’s in had that CD out of stock, I guessed it’s because of the remarks they gave me that day in AIM, that I looked and dressed ‘freakingly’ like Jason Lo, he opted for that album instead XD.

It was karaoke-ing whole night with obviously Jo, Arjuna & Ken having to hold the mike the most as we can’t sing a note to save ourselves LOL. MXV arrived about 9pm. Remembering that he always covers his face when ppl tried to snap his pic, me, Jo & dragon had our cameras ready right in front of the door when he opened it, we would immediately press the button hehe.

Fun lasted till slightly after midnite. As usual, Kenny offered me & Bong2 ride home. Still near the area, Kenny did an illegal u-turn around the traffic corner (erm..where the no u-turn sign was specifically displayed too), we thought no police would round up the streets this late but boy how unlucky it was when we saw flashing bluelights from behind. Alamak…. but but…tak kena saman LOL..nasib..warning only.

There was a really touching moment when Kai yeh made an announcement..said even though the guests dragon invited i.e. Paul Moss & Izham Omar couldn’t make it, Jac too due to not feeling well.. I couldn’t believe it when he mentioned a farewell for me..as I’ll be leaving for Liverpool in less than a week’s time. I was really really moved with the gesture….that I had made so many good, great friends in Jacsville. That I enjoyed every second with them, their companies. That I’ve never felt so comfortable, being in a group where almost everyone’s older than me (yet I got along fine! LOL =D). I just could not ask for more. Will definitely misses them greatly for this period of 3 months. Luv ya from the bottom of my heart guys!

Advanced Diploma Convocation & Ozie at Uncle Chilli’s

May 29th, 2006 by leonmah

Had my Advanced Diploma convocation ceremony held on Sat morning. Needed to be there by 8.15am. Got a little lost on the way to Genting Klang with the blockage of MRR2, which seemed to be taking forever to repair. Arrived abut 7.45am. Registered myself at the counter and since they told us to be back there by 8.15am, had breakfast in Canteen 2 first as we had rushed from home. In the hall, sat on the right side…walked up the stage, shook Ong Ka Ting’s hand, walked down back to my seat. Finally graduated about 1pm when the entire ceremony ended hehe.

Dinner with priest, Finrod, Peggy & Odiee at Subang’s Salmon Steak. Had a great time chatting with them, till Peggy had to leave as soon as she finished her food for another bday party in Hartamas. Left the place about 10.30pm to meet up with Michael in PJ Hilton’s Uncle Chilli’s. Planning to catch Ozie’s live band and gigs. Dropped Finrod at Subang’s KTM station before making our way there.

Kak Ozie was such a great performer really. Together with her sis, they rawked Chilli’s environment. I can’t believe Paul & Syafinaz dropped her just before Top 20 due to her rising age. I mean you set the age limit there for the One In A Milion and she hasn’t even exceeded the barrier and you guys threw that remark ‘right at her face’. Tsk tsk. Doesn’t matter, Ozie will do fine performing in gigs now that she’s bound to have exposure on TV (Guys, remember to catch her on 8TV’s OIAM next week hehe…gal with funky hair ;-D)

I Had A Bad Day!

May 29th, 2006 by leonmah

I had a bad day
I’m taking one down
I sing a sad song just to turn it around
I say I don’t know
I tell you don’t lie
I work at a smile and I go for a ride
I had a bad day
The camera don’t lie
I’m coming back down and I really don’t mind
I had a bad day, I had a bad day….

Yes, that’s the lyrics to Daniel Powter’s Bad Day..which I really have to sing to myself last Fri for what occured…dang.

Well, it’s just 1 week and a few days plus before I leave for UK. Hoping to meet up my college mates one last time after 3 months. Had everything planned well on Fri. Zq, Tsann, Yu, Chung, Sook Mei, Choh Kuan, Wee Yee, Kok Keong & even Sik Wei had wanted to join us for yamcha session in ss2’s KTZ. Alas, all were ruined..if not for the bloody big night downpour (Yeah so I blamed the weather, I could care less). Plan B, I changed the location back to Setapak to suit the needs of Yu, Tsann, Chung & Mei’s who were all stuck there. Sik Wei said it was rather far for him so he backed out. Waited at usual Coffee Bean opposite Hilton for Wee Yee, Zq and Kok Keong to pick me up. Called in and said within 5 mins, they’ll be reaching.

Or so I thought.

Choh Kuan and her bf had already arrived waiting at Asia Jaya station. Rain still pretty much heavy. 5 mins passed. 10 mins passed. 15 mins passed. Still no sign of Wee Yee’s car. Where the heck are they? Patience gradually losing. Then got a call from Kok Keong….for the worst. Wee Yee’s car had met with an accident..just right opposite the signboards of Heineken, Carlsberg..you know..the one on the highway. I was bemused for a second. Shocked? Thoroughly. Angry? Yes.

Really, of all 5 minutes you guys are reaching and this thing happened. How worst can reality go? Apparently, Wee Yee’s MyVi kissed (as how Zq put it) a Waja’s back. The whole front portion of his bonnet sunk in. Radiator kaboot. Sounded deja vu? LOL… check out my dad’s Wira number of posts back. Want a picture? Just imagine a MyVi in subsitution with my dad’s Wira and wala…you have it! At that moment, my mind was pretty messed up. Oh, where’s plan C you’re asking? Swt..what do you think plan C will be? Cancel the whole thing lah obviously!

Nah.. who wants the inevitable to happen right? Can’t help it..it’s raining..the road’s slippery..it’s bound to happen to someone. You just won’t know. And most important of all, thank god no lives were at stake. Don’t mind my endless rants up there. It’s just…me. LOL.

Anyway, Wee Yee’s pretty upset after the concoction. Took sometime for the tow truck to drag his car to nearest station (thank god wasn’t so far from Hilton), everyone’s waiting under the rain…drenched, hungry, exhausted. Awaiting another friend Shi Xue to pick them up to have a police report done. Best I could do was to check on them. Along I bought Ramlee burgers and mineral waters for each and everyone. It’s a good thing Shi Xue knows someone who can settle the saman for lesser amount. As he and Shi Xue were inside talking things up, Me, Keong & Zq sat outside and chit-chatted, after having months didn’t meet them up, we had tonnes of stuff to share LOL.

Although the meet up had turned into this rather disastrous course, it’s fortunate that none of them was hurt at all. At least we finally met up…at the extend of such an unexpected event LOL. Had supper in a nearby restaurant before leaving.

American Idol highlights: Taylor Hicks is your new American Idol!!!

May 25th, 2006 by leonmah

Well, ain’t really no surprise. Never been in the bottom at all which makes him the first guy to ever won the title without being in the bottom after Clay narrowly misses the crown to Ruben. It’s pretty obvious he’s already winning when Simon confirmed himself last night. Frankly, his winning single "Do I Make You Proud?" sounded much better than Katharine’s "My Destiny". They were tie with him conquering the 1st song and Kat took over on the 2nd with her ever fantastic rendition of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". I’d never root for Taylor cos he’s never my cup of tea but gotta admit, his single sounds great.

‘American Idol’ Crowns New Winner
May 24, 9:07 PM EST

The Associated Press

LOS ANGELES — Taylor Hicks, the mop-topped manic dancer who wooed TV audiences with his raw singing style and boisterous personality, was named the new "American Idol" Wednesday in a pop star-filled finale that included Prince and Mary J. Blige.

Hicks, 29, of Birmingham, Ala., became the latest in a string of Southern and Midwestern contestants to win the Fox talent contest after collecting more viewer votes than runner-up Katharine McPhee, 22, of Los Angeles.

Hicks leaned over, overcome by host Ryan Seacrest’s announcement.

"Soul Patrol!" he shouted, acknowledging his avid fans by their nickname. "I’m living the American dream," he added as he closed out the show with a performance of "Do I Make You Proud."

It was Katharine vs. Taylor, McPheever vs. the Soul Patrol, with a recording contract and the fifth "Idol" title up for grabs.

More than 63 million votes were cast, "more than any president in the history of our country has received," Seacrest said.

Fans picked the raw sound and footloose moves of Hicks, who made his mark on Stevie Wonder’s "Living for the City" on Tuesday’s show. The sultry McPhee’s well-trained voice was shown to perfection on the standard "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

Last season’s victor, Carrie Underwood of Checotah, Okla., opened the finale, joining Hicks and McPhee on "I Made it Through the Rain" and later soloing on "Don’t Forget to Remember Me."

On Tuesday, Underwood won two trophies at the Academy of Country Music Awards, underscoring how much an "Idol" victory can mean. She was named top new female artist and won best single for "Jesus Take the Wheel."

Other pairings of contestants and stars included Paris Bennett and Al Jarreau; McPhee and Meat Loaf; Chris Daughtry and Live; Elliott Yamin and Blige; Hicks and Toni Braxton, and the dozen finalists with Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick.

Prince was a surprise final performer, taking the stage for two songs, including "Satisfied" — and without an "Idol" contestant alongside.

Asked backstage if he had any advice for contestants, Meat Loaf replied: "If you want to do this, you’re gonna go up and down, and up and down, and people are going to love you and hate you just stick with it," he said.

With two hours to fill the show also tossed in some comedy. Contestant Kellie Pickler was seen trying gourmet dining and dumping her escargot — snail — under her chair, while "Golden Idols" were awarded to also-rans who flopped in their auditions.

Second-season runner-up Clay Aiken, with a slick new look, performed a "duet" on "Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me" with his alter ego, a wannabe "American Idol" contestant who evoked the originally geeky Aiken.

Hicks and McPhee weren’t as odd a finals pairing as second-second finalists Ruben Studdard and Aiken, but close.

McPhee was the first Los Angeles native to make it big on "American Idol." With a singer-vocal coach mom behind her and a starlet’s beauty, McPhee looked and sounded groomed for success.

Hicks, whose thatch of prematurely gray hair helped him stand out from the pack, had barely survived the first audition at which judge Simon Cowell warned he didn’t have a chance of advancing in the contest.

McPhee attended the prestigious Boston Conservatory for a semester; Hicks has been a fixture on honky-tonk stages. McPhee skillfully played to the cameras, all calculated seduction; Hicks stomped across the set, with Cowell once comparing him to a drunken dad at a wedding.

The finale closed out a relatively tame contest compared to seasons past, when jammed phone lines, technical glitches and annoyingly untalented singers drew complaints from fans. Last year, judge Paula Abdul denied an ex-competitor’s claims of an affair in 2003.

This season’s biggest jolt came when rocker Chris Daughtry of McLeansville, N.C., was voted out before the finale. Many observers had predicted he would win the contest after routinely drawing praise from the judges and online support.

Despite the lack of offstage drama, or because of it, this edition of "American Idol" was the most-watched yet. Compared to last year, the show was up 14 percent in total viewers with an average weekly audience of 30.3 million — impressive growth for an established program.

The Tuesday and Wednesday episodes routinely ranked as the top-rated TV shows, drawing 28 million or more viewers. The series also is seen via delayed broadcast or satellite delivery in more than 150 other countries.

Debaroti Dasgupta, 26, accompanied by her mother, flew in from Malaysia for the show after winning a radio competition in which she impersonated finalist Elliott Yamin. (Wow they mentioned her name in the news. If you didn’t know, she was the winner of the American Idol’s Biggest Fan in Zouk which I participated not very long ago)

"So my heart broke when he was out in the semifinals," she said before the show Wednesday at the Kodak Theatre. "But I"m here supporting Taylor and I hope he wins tonight."

Exhausted…

May 25th, 2006 by leonmah

Been a busy day on Tues, first up to collect mine and Teng’s gown and mortar boards from the college. Couldn’t sleep well the night before, no idea why..I guess I was rather excited since today I will be out the entire day. Wasn’t very sure where the Sports Complex was located as I’ve roughly passed (in fact, I don’t think I ever had LOL) the place. Turned out it’s indeed that sort of new building towards the hostel. Found the specific room in the upper level. The gowns are all spreaded on the floor for us to pick, dividing into 3 sizes; Large, Medium & Small. Mortar boards were all free size. Made sure I picked the best looking ones.

Aiyoh, I just never realised how heavy was dragging both gowns everywhere I go..as I had to go to MSL’s travel agency to collect my airline tix. When I got there, quite a number of students were also waiting patiently for their tickets. Queue wasn’t long but the process for 1 student took about 15 minutes. James was expecting to meet me anytime now at KL Sentral. He’s down here for a few days to attend some job interviews. Since his interviews are all scheduled for tomorrow and he had nothing on today, decided to meet him to catch up on stuffs..at the same time I could enquire him more on UK lifestyles..as I’ll be flying in less than 2 weeks time. We had a little miscommunication of meeting in front of the entrance of LRT in KL Sentral. LOL can’t blame him, he’s hardly been here as all this while he was in UK and now he’s returning for good. Went to Times Square, had lunch at Hartz Chicken Buffet. RM15 per person where you can consume all you want. I’d say very worth it as drinks were also included. Dropped by at Lau Yat to get a LAN cable for my PC and laptop while he survyed for flat screen monitors. Rested awhile in a cafe where the time’s already 6pm. Had a birthday celebration later at night for Ulee at SS2’s Svensens. He;ll be lingering in KL Sentral waiting for his friend till about 7pm in Ampang Park. Bid out goodbyes and I was almost wearing out…cos I’ve still been dragging the bulky gowns!

Took a short nap, bathed then went to Svensen to meet up with them. I thought I was slightly late but when I got there, no one had arrived yet. So I booked a table outside the balcony upstairs while awaiting. Ivy arrived second, followed by Aris and birthday gal Ulee. Farah, her cousin bro and Myn came shortly. Started ordering food as my stomach began to growl..Detlenat entered at this second. Gosh ..they really ordered lots of stuff..from hilly ice-creams to cheese topping rice. Trully stuffed till the end of the day LOL.

The Mystery of Da Vinci Code

May 21st, 2006 by leonmah

Da Vinci Code’s potrayal was deeply intriguing, if not interesting. Couldn’t book it online so Dina & I bought it on the spot at GSC’s 1 U. Even then, gosh..when we looked at the screen, two shows which were about to go were almost sold out. In fact, the one on 6pm, 9 and 9.30pm were all sold out. We noticed many white collar people queueing..which I’m guessing majority could be catching DVC..they’re sacrificing their lunch times to get the tickets LOL. Managed to get 2 seats 4 rows from the screen (man..all the rest were at least 3 rows left). As we descended the escalator to McDs for lunch, there seemed to be a booth promoting the DVC’s watch under the company of Vitruvian Man Diamond (what a name!) right next to it. Each person gets a RM50 worth of voucher (LOL..as if we can purchase anything with the items at least costs a minumum amount of RM1k). The voucher is redeemable for a lucky draw so Dina & I tried our luck in hope to get something out of it but unfortunately none of us were lucky enough that day to win anything heh.

1st quarter of the show, I was practically yawning through..no idea..it wasn’t to say it’s boring though..just my nature sometimes as probably I still hadn’t adapt myself into the show. As I sat and watched, the stories unfolded and they’ve began to unveil..about Jesus being married and bearing an offspring ..hours before he was cruxified, the claims on one of Vinci’s famous paintings, The Last Supper, the meaning of V & reverse V being blade & chalice (blade for male, chalice for female) when as a result, combined to become the Star of David (in other words, the pentacle), I was suddenly caught wide awake as Ian McKellen started explaining to Tom & Audrey at one scene in the show. It’s remarkable..to see how author Dan Brown ever had the idea of coming up such unique ‘facts’ on DVC. If possible, I wanna own that cyrptex Tom held before he threw it in the air (dang, why’d you do that?!) as it’s such a collective’s item LOL.

Arjuna invited for his karaoke bday party on Saturday at KTV in Yow Chuan Plaza. Totally had no idea where it was, needed priest to guide the way. My god..I dunno how many routes we ventured and U-turns we took to look for the place and finally ending up there. Jo called and asked cos we just couldn’t find the place. City-Square Centre they said. Aiyoh..should have told us what building it was in wat…swt..swt..swt. Logo was already waiting us at the counter. As Arjuna brought us into the VIP room, Angah, Aris & Ulee, Dragon & Anas had arrived. They were a few unfamiliar faces..I’m guessing they’re Arjuna’s family members. His sister, Ira, who’s an actress showed up later. Wow, think singing runs in his family. Both he and his sis really can sing. Shame on you OIAM for knocking him out the 1st round LOL. All night long, it was again sing sing sing. Now there’s one thing I finally realised is that Logo was very very camera shy..didn’t like himself being snapped LMAO. Had some fun harrassing him all night trying to snap pics of him at any chance possible LOL…when he wasn’t blocking his face entire time XD. Got back around midnight.

American Idol highlights: McPheever Vs Soul Patrol!!!

May 18th, 2006 by leonmah

Of the total 50 million votes casted,

33.64%

33.28%

33.08%

Lowest votes - 33.08%…goes to Elliott Yamin! Which means the top 2 battling out are Katharine McPhee Vs Taylor Hicks! Yes!

(Sorry couldn’t upload anymore pics..reached my limit for this month LOL)

Thank god Kat got in..what a relief..  I think it’s pretty obvious who had the highest votes that night..even with a very tiny margin of 0.44%. Yes I know it’s Taylor. He’s gonna win anyway…seeing he avoided being in the bottom the entire season. Having Kat into the finals was really a bonus. Hope she delivers her best next week, giving him a run for the title. Go McPheever!! =D

On the other side of reality, The Amazing Race 9 ended it’s finale today. Congrats Hippies @ BJ & Tyler for winning the $1 million! It was such a narrow race between Frat Boys @ Eric & Jeremy….good thing they messed up the flag sequent (They don’t know how Thailand flag looked like LOL!) Wouldn’t have want them winning with their somehow cocky attitude towards Hippies. Ray & Yolanda would have been another great team to win. Too bad their navigational skills in Japan slowed them.

I know Survivor Panama: Exile Island had recently found it’s winner..have yet to watch the finale..LOL..too many shows to catch up before I leave..lucky they’re all ending now as I don’t have to be hooked to them disrupting my studies.

Poseidon

May 16th, 2006 by leonmah

Caught this movie yesterday with my cousin and seriously it’s worth a watch. If you like Titanic, chances are you may also enjoy this. Storyline may not be as great as Titanic but the action scenes definitely are. Hehe..don’t mind me spoiling the movie a little here.

The ship, named Poseidon itself was in the middle of an ocean somewhere (don’t know where it is though LOL) and unlike Titanic where it crashed the iceberg which still gave some time for the guests on board to evacuate using lifeboats. This ship was completely caught offguard by an enormous tidal wave (could even be a tsunami) that in seconds it toppled the ship entirely submerged. At that instant, almost everyone’s killed either by falling lightings or be squished by heavy objects. And water’s rising fast, I meant REALLY fast. So we have a number of people who (always in every show)  being either the hero or heroin as usual will find their way up to the ship before it completely sunk into the ocean. And as usual, you have some survivors dying along the way. In fact, every single crew and guests died except for these few. What’s so tensed about this movie compared to Titanic was the motion of every scene you see the water getting to them, almost seconds before the water engulfed the entire place. It felt as if you’re there together with them, thinking how would they ever leave the giant ship with very limited areas to run, climb while watching the water level below their feet..thinking would more people die along the way trying to escape..what were their fates?

Now if you have hydrophobia, I’d suggest you shouldn’t watch it, cos the almost half of the show, you see them running frantically, evading water as much as possible. It’s just nerve-wrecking to sum it up.

It isn’t bad at all as the critics said it was. I recommend it.

Mother’s Day

May 16th, 2006 by leonmah

It’s Mother’s Day, where all beloved mummies all around the world celebrates their most ’sacred’ day with their family members, either by taking their mums/wives to place where they desired or surprising them with wonderful gifts and kisses.

I on the other hand…had made mum unhappy. You see, she asked me to set the channel for TV9 and so I did as was told. However, there’s always this habit of mum of questioning someone’s credibility (whether it’s me or dad) while doing or fixing something. She would without fail sort of ticked off our patience by bombarding lots of questions or belittling us. My mood wasn’t exactly the top as I just got up from bed so I got annoyed pretty fast this time. Unexpectedly, I lashed out at her, saying she shouldn’t have asked me to fix if she was so smart with the ordering, she should fix it herself instead etc etc. Broke up a quarrel..over a petty issue of setting up the channel. Sigh, wish my temper wouldn’t have gotten the better of me…especially not on this day.

Mum, I am sorry I said those things to you. I really didn’t mean it. Hope you don’t keep those in mind. I love you. Happy Mother’s Day. ;-)

Most Memorable Birthday Ever

May 16th, 2006 by leonmah

This is really a good year for me. Had 2 birthday celebrations for me..no doubt I had to share with another buddy as there’s a number of people having birthdays lapping one another LOL. Received about 20 messages on my birthday..with Mel being the 1st to call me and Yumi the 1st to message me ;-).

Last Wed, met up Kit Loong (Greg) whom I’ve last met for quite sometime. Still looked cocky as ever wakakaka..with the ’shiu ye’ kinda dressing. What to do..salesperson rely their mouths to do the work ;P. Hung out together with Eng & How at Damansara Uptown’s McDs. Of all places…sigh..I was expecting more a mamak restaurant. Or better, Starbucks. Hehe. Chatted till about 11.30pm.

Wesak day, had a little bowling game in 1U. Picked up Jo & Arjuna from station. Arrived late as was waiting for Arjuna. Made Ray, Raymond Logo, Kai Ma, Kai Yeh & cute lil Kristine waited..paiseh. Altogether we all played 3 games. At first, my score was leading with 3 strikes along. Till the end, I sort of fumbled and I lost the lead. To top up the embarassment, my consecutive 2nd and 3rd games both scored less than 100. What happened? Anyway, I wasn’t great at bowling LOL. Normally people’s score would increase after each game but funnily, mine deteriorated. In between, Ray had asked us to bowl our contra hand (meaning right handers bowl once with their left hand and vice-versa) to see how versatile are we. LOL practically all balls rode off to the drain lane, save ofr Jo and Kai Ma who managed to score some points. At another point, Logo & I had same positions and number of pins left on the lane. So we both called out to three and rolled out the ball together. What happened next was beyond expectation. Logo’s hand slipped and the ball rolled backwards LMAO. Gave me a fright as I was standing next to him which made my throw went off the course and into the drain. Everyone was laughing so loud. Jo even laughed and fell after seeing that hilarious scene. Had lunch at Sri Melaka. Gosh, the price was ‘remarkable’. First page dishes ranged from RM8-RM10. Next page? At least RM15. Siao. I ordered among the cheapest on the first page itself; Nasi ayam pandan and a glass of Coke. The rice smelled great. 2 pieces of ayam wrapped in pandan leaves. During meal, I noticed a lot of whisperings between Jo and the rest. Hmm..I suspected they’re definitely planning something for me. Suddenly, Kai Ma, Kai Yeh, Ray & logo got up to go somewhere..if I wasn’t mistaken, they said loo but was it weird to have all going at the sametime? And why outside the restaurant since there’s always one in the restaurant itself? My suspicion grew stronger and stronger. They returned about 15 minutes later, with a plastic bag. I assumed Kai Ma bought something for lil Kristine. Waiter cleared up the dishes. Saw Jo sort of like signal something to Ray..and up came Ray brought up something from under the table..it’s two quarter slices of tiramisu and chocolate cake! With 2 presents wrapped up. LOL..I knew it…they had planned a small scale celebration for me & arjuna. How touching…:’( We opened our presents and inside was a photo frame. Lovely. I will frame our bowling session pics today as a memory. When the bill arrived, everyone offered to share out to pay for me & arjuna’s meal as well. Wow, I couldn’t be more touched than earlier. When we left Sri Melaka, both of us couldn’t stop thanking them for such a great treat and present.

Saturday night had another dinner with friends at 1U. Picked up Kanesh & Tusham, then Dina as usual from his grandma’s place. Wei Wern, Eng & How were already waiting. At first we couldn’t decide where to eat. Then Eng came up a suggestion on Wong Kok Char Chan Teng. Been years since I last came here. How could we miss coming here all this while? Prices pretty reasonable for a student too.  Ordered the chicken chop rice with cheese covering the top. When you disperse the cheese, it’s like sticky pizza at the end. Really unique. And the drinks..extraordinary big with jar like sizes. More than enough to share with another person LOL.  It was cake’s cutting time again and it’s a surprise that took Dina by surprised. Since his birthday is next Friday, Kanesh had put up a good show, making him into thinking the cake was only for me and he himself was caught offguard by the suprise. Good one hehe. Here comes another hilarious part…they made us cut the cake together..by holding hands LMAO!! As if we’re a couple!! After that, we had to feed each other sumore. Wei Wern even suggested we locked hands (What?? Like bride and bridegroom those type?!!) Gosh man..this people could really come up with nonsense for the sake of making a fool out of us XD XD XD. Went over to State’s Lotus for mamak session after that. Felt weird during the conversation as it was divided into 2 categories, the business channel and the entertainment channel. Wei Wern, Eng & How were at the business while the rest of us at entertainment. Totally unconnectable LOL. Meanwhile, the match between Liverpool vs West Ham was on tv. Liverpool won at last with 3-3 penalty 3-0. People were practically cheering as Liverpool emerged the winner.

All in all, this had to be my finest and greatest birthday celebration. I really enjoyed every single one of it. And to all of you out there..you know who you are…thanks thanks, and thanks again for everything. Love you guys a lot and peace! ;-D
