The Mystery of Da Vinci Code
Da Vinci Code’s potrayal was deeply intriguing, if not interesting. Couldn’t book it online so Dina & I bought it on the spot at GSC’s 1 U. Even then, gosh..when we looked at the screen, two shows which were about to go were almost sold out. In fact, the one on 6pm, 9 and 9.30pm were all sold out. We noticed many white collar people queueing..which I’m guessing majority could be catching DVC..they’re sacrificing their lunch times to get the tickets LOL. Managed to get 2 seats 4 rows from the screen (man..all the rest were at least 3 rows left). As we descended the escalator to McDs for lunch, there seemed to be a booth promoting the DVC’s watch under the company of Vitruvian Man Diamond (what a name!) right next to it. Each person gets a RM50 worth of voucher (LOL..as if we can purchase anything with the items at least costs a minumum amount of RM1k). The voucher is redeemable for a lucky draw so Dina & I tried our luck in hope to get something out of it but unfortunately none of us were lucky enough that day to win anything heh.
1st quarter of the show, I was practically yawning through..no idea..it wasn’t to say it’s boring though..just my nature sometimes as probably I still hadn’t adapt myself into the show. As I sat and watched, the stories unfolded and they’ve began to unveil..about Jesus being married and bearing an offspring ..hours before he was cruxified, the claims on one of Vinci’s famous paintings, The Last Supper, the meaning of V & reverse V being blade & chalice (blade for male, chalice for female) when as a result, combined to become the Star of David (in other words, the pentacle), I was suddenly caught wide awake as Ian McKellen started explaining to Tom & Audrey at one scene in the show. It’s remarkable..to see how author Dan Brown ever had the idea of coming up such unique ‘facts’ on DVC. If possible, I wanna own that cyrptex Tom held before he threw it in the air (dang, why’d you do that?!) as it’s such a collective’s item LOL.
Arjuna invited for his karaoke bday party on Saturday at KTV in Yow Chuan Plaza. Totally had no idea where it was, needed priest to guide the way. My god..I dunno how many routes we ventured and U-turns we took to look for the place and finally ending up there. Jo called and asked cos we just couldn’t find the place. City-Square Centre they said. Aiyoh..should have told us what building it was in wat…swt..swt..swt. Logo was already waiting us at the counter. As Arjuna brought us into the VIP room, Angah, Aris & Ulee, Dragon & Anas had arrived. They were a few unfamiliar faces..I’m guessing they’re Arjuna’s family members. His sister, Ira, who’s an actress showed up later. Wow, think singing runs in his family. Both he and his sis really can sing. Shame on you OIAM for knocking him out the 1st round LOL. All night long, it was again sing sing sing. Now there’s one thing I finally realised is that Logo was very very camera shy..didn’t like himself being snapped LMAO. Had some fun harrassing him all night trying to snap pics of him at any chance possible LOL…when he wasn’t blocking his face entire time XD. Got back around midnight.

Leon, how’s the movie “The Da Vinci Code”? Did you enjoy watching? Many of my friends said that that movie is very boring and they prefer the book more interesting than the movie. Agree? I also haven’t watch that movie. I will watch and see how bored.

harloo sengu.. DVC was a good watch wasn’t it. Good thing we didn’t read the book fist.. otherwise we would have drawn too many comparisons and bored ourselves to death.. though it would be a good idea to read a synopsis at least, to avoid getting confused while watching the movie..hehehe
