Hectic weekend…

Monday, November 28th, 2005

Last Saturday, priest smsed to check out Ostrova as an emcee over a Crazy Frog meet the press and fans session at Sri Pentas 2. Drove there and hung around till the evening before sending Ostro and his angels to the KTM station hehe. Nikki’s album Maharani was released today so we went over to Carrefour to check if the stock has arrived. Zilch. Was planning to get Daniel’s album too but they gave us the same answer. So we went over to Subang Parade. Daniel’s album is visible, RM35.90 at the normal retail price. Me wanted a discounted rate so I held back buying it. Later got over to Farah’s house to meet lonely Fareesya who had been pestering priest to go over her place. We couldn’t decide where to have our dinner..finally ended up a restaurant nearby. Ordered Nasi Goreng Pattaya since I haven’t taken it for so long (got first introduced to this when I was doing my industrial training at Subang).

Dropped Fareesya back home and we went to Ray’s condo at Kerinchi. The Jacsville’s are having a pot luck gathering there and they’re hosting a trip for the Rumah Soleha orphans to Zoo Negara. Jac had wanted to go but last minute schedules prevented her. Then again, Ash & Farah will be there too. It was a really long way up to Raymond’s condo. At the entrance, I had to hand over my IC to the security guard to get in. Got up the lift to 13th floor..surprisingly I thought mat salleh’s were rather superstitious dealing with this no. but yet he lived on the exact floor LOL. Pressed the doorbell, Raymond himself answered. Kai Ma, Kai Yeh, Raymond, Jo, Kenny, Uptowndragon and his gf are all there. They were playing Jac’s songs..Gemilang, Wajah. Then I saw Daniel’s CD being placed on top the hi-fi set which belonged to Kenny’s. He told me Heaven Knows was really nice and so we played it. By golly, he wasn’t lying about that. I could feel my goosebumps rising when he sang the whole song through. At that point, I was more than keen to get his album. Saw the scrap book that they are going to present Jac for her birthday. It’s really packed with pictures and decorations which I can see spent hours to do. Felt so grateful for her that her dedicated fans are being everlasting loyal.

The plan was to meet up in front of the bus stand beside Armada Hotel. Then we’ll leave for Rumah Soleha to pick up the kids then head for Zoo Negara. LOL..it’s been more than a decade since I last stepped in. Still remember KFC used to have a theme song played during commercial on tv then. Just bring back the old memories.

Kam Zhi Yuk Yip a blast!

The War & Beauty performance on Friday nite were definitely great and memorable. Mum & I left the house at 3pm, had dinner early at Gohtong Jaya before reaching atop Genting about 6pm. Mum’s friend had offers of VIP seats which costs RM200 each tickets, which was so lucky of us as we informed her last minute (which she still managed to get them). Crowd in Arena Stars was huge..I’d say a strong 6,000 fans. The show started off with Bowie Lam & Gigi Lai in traditional clothings belting the ending theme song. One by one, they introduced the other casts…Moses Chan, Charmaine Sheh (Aww..), Maria Chen and Wai Ka Hong.

First up to perform was Bowie with War & Beauty’s theme song. Next came Moses Chan with a string of famous Cantonese medleys..Maria Chen took over the stage who sang two songs. She called out Wai Ka Hong and they both dueted Stand By Me. Next, Ka Hong did a Wu Bai song solo. The biggest cheer for the night was none other than the ever stunning Charmaine Sheh. While she got down to greet the fans in the VIP area singing Faye Wong’s hit song..forgot the title in Cantonese though, she was mobbed greatly by the fanatic audiences LOL. Her responses were by the far the wildest as the fans pushed their ways to photograph and cam her..they even went to the extent of pulling her hair! She screamed a few times for that XD XD XD. Her next song was Sandy Lam’s famous song..which was the soundtrack from Chow Yun Fatt’s Anna & The King and my personal favourite song..no idea what was title LOL.

Gigi Lai replaced Charmaine later and last up for the night was Bowie with a hippie and plain outfit..pair of sunglasses, few button collar shirt and a pair of jeans. He did a fast song which got some of the crowd to groove along with him. Finally, to wrap up the stage for the night, all 6 appeared again and sang a dance track song. When they greeted goodbyes to the crowd. Many of them wanted encore..hoping that grouping around the stage even after it screaming and screaming would get them out for a final time. They never did appear, guess the shout wasn’t loud enough LOL.

War and Beauty (Kam Zhi Yuk Yip) show in Genting today

Thursday, November 24th, 2005

One of mum’s frequent hair saloon customer managed to get mum & I front row seats at Arena of Stars in Genting for the show today for free…what luck ;D. Those who watched this famous TVB drama on Wah Lai Toi now would know what I’m talking about. War & Beauty…in other words, Kam Zhi Yuk Yip in Cantonese is a show of domination and power hunger between the emperor’s concubines in the palace. Each with her cunning strategies to conjure the emperor’s love to gain power and dignity and later to outwit others to the very end.

My fav actress was definitely Charmaine Sheh..she has this captivating sparkling and twinkling eyes in her. In fact she’s one of the most notable pretty actresses in the show. Was hoping Sheryn Tan Shui Man would join the crew of the show..but she came down along earlier for the Astro’s Miss International Pageant, probably not free to do a second round. Will be leaving later at 4pm. Can’t wait.

Worst day of a weekend..

Thursday, November 24th, 2005

Early morning Sunday, was catching Australian Idol 3’s top 4 performances. 2 of my favs, Anne & Daniel are gone..hoping for Emily to bag the title but the results have been announced on Sunday night itself in Australia of course..call me slowpoke whatever..I don’t wish to know the winner here till I finally watch to the grand finals. Still downloading Top 4’s results which is why I had to cut my pace back…damn whoever who uploadesd it mininova..where in the bejesus is the seeder??!! There’s like 15 of us leechers..waiting and waiting in line. The download’s gonna take freaking forever.

That’s not the problem my weekend though. Had just formatted my hard disk a couple of days ago..haven’t install my burner program. So I did the usual process..click this click that.."Windows must restart in order for the blah blah program to work". Clicked restart. Wait.

The blue screen appeared. Stated something’s wrong with D: and required scanning. The display…

D: appears to be not a Windows XP drive. Error writing on output log….

0_o…..o_0…..0_o….o_0…..o_0….0_o……

Okay..what the bloody hell just happened? Windows restarted really slow, hung up now and then. Quickly access My Computer. Clicked on D:. It hanged. Panicked. Annoyed. I have tonnes of vids and pics here which I’ve collected with hardship over the past years and it tells me I can’t access it anymore???!!!! WTF??!! If it’s some kind of a lame joke played by my comp, it’s nowhere near funny. Kaboot…gone..I tried uninstalling the burner program..didn’t help one bit. I don’t get it..I installed that program on my C: and my D: paid the price. It didn’t happen at all the last time. What’s the logic in that???!!Took every counter measures I could think of..system restore, reinstalling windows everything..nothing worked. My D: is totally unaccessible.

For a moment there, my life just went drained out to the very last soul. My precious stuffs in that drive…Nooooooooo..I couldn’t accept the fact.

Then I thought back. This harddisk has been with me for 4 years plus now. Bought it back together with the rest in Dec. 2000. Which means my hard disk’s lifespan is reaching 5 next month. Well, probably the lifespan’s shortening, indicating that it’s time I need a new hard disk now. But I wasn’t ready to give up on my old one. It has been 5 years since I started using it. There’s still the least of fondness between us. LOL nah..I’m just determined to retrive as much data as I could from it. Thank god there are such programs without having to bring it to a service center for a killer fee.

The next day, called Shi Xue for help guidance since he’s the true expert in this field as far as I’ve known. Told me to get the data program recovery from him at Olympus HQ in Mont Kiara. The software needs another hard disk at present to be the backup of my slightly defunct hard disk. I thought the best and nearest person I could loan a hard disk for a few hours were my cousins. Went over to their house, tested the hard disk on their pc but it didn’t work. Rechecked the connections and try again, still no responds. My hard disk totally could not even boot. Gave up after several more attempts so my cousin reset his pc. He turned on the power…no respond..rechecked the connections and turned it on again..still nothing. Now I’m in for a major trouble. I even screwed up my cousin’s comp big time. Immediately got it to a computer shop in ss2 to have it fixed. What’s weird was, the technician assembled his pc and it ran perfectly fine. Thank god..there’s nothing wrong with it lah..dunno what did he do..scared the hell out of me.

Since I’m around this area, might as well get my hard disk here. Bought the Maxtor 80 gigs 8MB cache for RM209. Very much the price you get around Lau Yat. Hm..might visit this place later for I don’t have to travel all the way down to KL anymore just to buy some tech stuffs.

Well, out of 5 gigs stuff, managed to retrace 1 gigs from my old hard disk (could savour some of the Idol vids, most of Idols mp3s are totally gone..even Idols’ pictures I took from Sri Pentas..only a handful returned. Rest are history. Fortunately enough..I did upload most of them to my friendsters’ blog back then. Consider myself lucky 20% of my personal stuff came back intact.

Went for another game of Badminton session with Dina, Kanesh and his bro in the morning at our dear old BBBS. When I got to pick up Dina, he was dressed in normal attire. I was like..gosh..we’re playing sports here and you’re in this. He was thinking of only a short game, that he wouldn’t perspire that much. Harlo..when you’re playing sports, you will shed gallons of sweat lah..In the end he looked to be all ’soaked’ up and smelt great too LOL. Fortunately there are fans on the stage to blow us dry. Wouldn’t want us to sticky and sweaty back at my car ;P. Had McDs for lunch. After that we hung out at Jaya, check out an Adidas shop to buy time later for the Harry Potter show which I booked at 5pm at MidValley.

Dropped them all back at Kanesh’s place to wash ourselves up for the show later. There was a real heavy downpour later when I leave to pick them up later. Gotta pick up the tickets 45 mins before hand all they’ll go releasing it. Phew..thank god made it on the brink of time.

Good show to say but there wasn’t much of a really fight scene except at the end with the deadly Voldermort..even that seemed rather abrupt. I was expecting a more challenging, jaw-breaking battle. Credits to the superb graphics displayed and plot. Many will say tonnes of stuff had been omitted from the 700 pages thick book but it isn’t easy to fit everything into a 2 and half hour movie. Best that we don’t read the book first. And one thing that really annoys me in the end of the movie; the kissing scene between Harry and Cho Chang..that was totally snipped off. Curses to the censorship board >:(

Muscle ache like mad…

Friday, November 18th, 2005

It’s been months since I last played sports. Yeah me a big fat lump, potato couch..watching tv every night and day..sleeping and getting up late..it’s so routine and it’s so bad for me..but I never change it..LOL

Shiong Chung had asked to play badminton the other day at college..yeah why not since I’ve not been playing for so long..but I was so ready to face the consequences..that my whole body will ache like crazy the day after.

True enough, the effect appeared most immediately at night. I began to feel my arm and leg joints hurting increasingly. And by next morning..god..I felt so old all of a sudden LOL..my neck..down to the hinds of my leg are so painful that I had to sort of skittled..>.< Well I gotta start somewhere, if I don’t, I’ll never will.

Kanesh had booked the court tomorrow and I’ll be playing again..and my ‘injury’ hasn’t really subsided completely..LOL..might just do a light one. Gonna catch Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire later that day.

I challenge you…to get me out!!!

Friday, November 18th, 2005

Thanks for the package Mel sent yesterday on your yearbook. I shouldn’t comment anymore..the argument will go on and on..;P. And HF, very nice of you to write that stuff down on the autograph page..>_<

Caught Exorcism of Emily Rose with Dina & Kanesh last Friday at Sunway Pyramid. I’d say the show was more of a story telling, the reminiscence of how Emily Rose was tormented by black figures, unknown forces pressing her..inflicting injuries on herself till her death. Come to think of it..imagine if it was on you..seriously anyone would go insane having to go through the pain no one could feel except yourself. And in addition, people think you’re sick.

I was hoping for more scary scenes, rather having a trial on the priest who was convicted for her death… But kudos to Jennifer Carpenter for daring to take the role of the possessed. Wonder how much was she blessed before the making..(remember the original Exorcist? How much fatality the movie caused to the cast and crews after the show was made..probably because they did not conduct a proper ritual). I can’t believe she was actually possessed by 6 demons…without a doubt the exorcism failed greatly. Imagine 1 is enough to give you good damage, what more of six. Belial..I’ve heard of this demon from the Singapore Ghost Stories book..it’s one of the powerful devils ever after Lucifer. And by dear lord, both Belial & Lucifer are in Emily within.

This show isn’t much of a graphic to boast but leaves you pondering her factual story after you’ve seen it. Makes you think and rethink again of the horrendous journey she went. It’s worth the watch.

P.S: You won’t see 3 am on your clock ever the same again…..hehehehehe…..

Tears of surprise..

Wednesday, November 16th, 2005

The 26th surprise birthday bash for Farah from the Farahnatics was definitely one of the most memorable times I’ve experienced in my life. Never had so much fun in my life. Breakthrough point was I finally danced for the first time! ;P..yeah how lame that sounded, but who cares.

They had planned earlier on to have it at a cafe called Friendster (familiar isn’t it ;) at Damansara Perdana..which I totally had no idea where it was. Farahnatic Mandy provided a map but it was too simplify to understand so we had to get near the area and asked for directions.  Priest & I stopped at a neighbourhood which has a guard house by the side. He told us to pass a hilly road while The Curve’s on the right. Opposite the cafe is the Hyundai showroom. Managed to find it..no surprises if people tend to get lost searching in this new area. Once we got in, some of the familiar faces..Kai Ma Kai Yeh, Michael, Ivy, Mandy, Fareesya etc are already present, preparing for the surprise. Yup, Farah had no idea what’s in store for herself..earlier on they had discussed with her boyfriend Iwan to take her for a usual dinner celebration some sort. She never forseen that the Farahnatics was going to throw her a surprise birthday party.

Dscn1397

Ostrova & Teng were the hosts of the night. It took a while for her to arrive so we had some karaoke sessions for fun and the ice-breaker session yet again. I was the second to introduce for the night, nervous as usual but it’s the procedure. When it was Farahnatic Arjuna’s turn. Ostrova made him sang I Surrender (which Farah sang during the workshops of course). Man, he definitely possessed a splendid voice and he ought to audition for the next MI seriously. Then Ostrova even had our 3 ‘judges’ comments to say a few words of his singing. Michael protrayed the role of Roslan, Kai Ma as Kak Jee and Kai Yeh as Paul Moss (what’s weird is this version of Paul commented very fluently in Malay LOL). The turn went around an as it was priest’ turn, Ostro requested him to sing Daniel’s Mimpi..with the backup of Daniel’s ultimate fan, Teng LOL.. Then again, she didn’t really sing at all.

"Farah has just arrived! People get ready!" someone shouted. We signal the waiter standing by the corner for the arrival. We dimmed the lights earlier on, ensure no one makes a single sound..except the music which was playing softly in the background..some held balloons to fling at her when she appears. Started smsing Mel to tell her about the party..actually didn’t wanna disturb her study but I was just too excited..had to tell someone about this. ;P

The moment was here..had my digicam recorder prepared…waiting ..wating…. waiting…. The waiter sents a definite clear sign. As soon as Farah stepped in.."Surprise!! Happy Birthday Farah!!" Farah gasped..as if out of breath, her hands covering her wide-open jaw. We cheered and clapped as loud as we all could. The tears of overwhelming..we could see it from a distance..she was trying frantically to hold her gushing tears, her back facing us, too stunned to utter any word. The clapping and cheers got more immensed. She’s trying to catch her breath..LOL..the cheers and claps gave her more pressure. Slowly, she began to release her hands..then looked at Iwan…and a bouquet of roses in front of her unbelieving eyes…a beautiful gesture indeed and a big applause after that. She stepped on one of the scattered balloons to mark her 26th birthday.

Dscn1444

Lovely couple, aren’t they?

Ostrova then hand over the mic to Farah to give a short speech. She thanked high and low to everyone who helped to plan this event. She felt grateful that her passionate fans (yes that’s the Farahnatics) had realised a dream of her being an Idol. No doubt she didn’t win the comp, her fans stick true to her till the very last and she accepted as a blessing from god.

Dscn1409

Look how pretty she dressed ;)

It was a time to feast and we gather around the buffet table, grabbed bites from each dishes. They were minced sausages, oyster spaghetti and a couple more dishes I couldn’t recall but the food was great..I had the sausages and spaghetti for a second go LOL. While munching on the delicious food, had a conversation with Michael, Kai Ma & Kai Yeh regarding some differences between the pronunciation of certain Cantonese words over here and Hong Kong.

Priest then came over to pass together the gift I bought for Farah. I helped her wore it around the neck..oh…was embarrassed to say..my hands got a little shaky..I dropped the butterfly..LOL bad fingers and I had difficulties releasing the knot..LOL..thank god it fitted well after scourging to get the locket in piece.

Rscn1457

Yup…the butterfly locket ;)

It was time to to present her the birthday cake (Yup you guessed it..chocolate banana again) and before that, priest and the rest of the Farahnatics were proud to show her with a very own first official fansite which was done tireless and endlessly by priest himself with the help of excellent graphic designer Arjuna, Aris & Ellyse (too bad she wasn’t here to witness the opening ceremony) Wanna check out the website , click on http://www.farahasyikin.net and it’ll give you access to wonderful site dedicated to Farah. There’s an active forum link to it and up to date activities will be discussed as it goes. "Oh my god!!" was the exact exclaimation she said when she saw the site.

It was time to cut the cake, and we were singing, wishing her happy birthday again. Priest wanted to dunk the cake but didn’t work out again LOL..he really enjoyed that badly..:D

Dscn1424

Farah belted several songs i.e Don’t Let Go, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, All By Myself accapella version and Kembali Di Sisi Mu..her ever powerful-packed voice stormed the cafe and even the table outside with a brunch of teenagers gave standing ovation to her performances. The cheers went on and as loud as you could ever imagine.

Dscn1429

Backup dancers from priest, kuaciman, Ostrova & Michael when she sang ANMHE. There was one scene where all 4 held hands, circled around her like a merry go round and then stretched out their hands as if to beg to accept her. That was hilarious LOL.

Kuaciman came out with a list of poems that some of the members wrote exclusively for dear Farah but couldn’t make it to the party.

More activities went on as we started having dances on the floor. Everyone got up and grooved to the music which began with famous Crazy Frog, Macarena, Last Ketchup song and more…gosh we danced, moved and partied like no one’s business. It was hell a lot of fun. I was beginning to feel the open sensation that I’ve finally done something very much outgoing.

And just you thought it was over, Michael stepped up and offered an infectious Thai performance specially for Farah (if it was outsiders, he’d would have a charge an amount of money to perform it) and it was really good. I so had the video captured but turned out too dark of an environment to see a single thing adding to the black wallpaper behind made it even harder. We hadn’t had enought of enjoyment, the dance continued, popping to very last remaining balloons we can find.

Time was about to strike midnight. Many had to leave as it was getting late. We had everyone together to take the final group photo. Joining the photo shoot is the newly added member to the fan club, a huge and adorable teddy bear named Fiffy (Farah’s close friends used to call her this) which a few of the members shared off as a present.

Dscn1454

Cute Fiffy ^-^

Dscn1441

Group photo..one big happy Farahnatics ;)

Just as that, the night has passed. It’s time to say goodbye to everyone. Another memorable day to be placed sacredly in the mind.

Even as we left, priest & I purposely took an extra rounding to sound the horn at Farah, Fareesya, Iwan & a the rest. LOL. As we stopped at a red light sign. Farah’s car quietly approached behund ours. Priest started climbing to the back seat and make silly actions in front of them. They hooted at us and we returned it. We started sort of raced against each other at the LDP highway LOL. Dangerous in a way but lucky they weren’t much cars in the street at this hour. We parted ways at the underground back to SS2. What a great night.

Farah’s open house & her surprise birthday bash back-2-back

Monday, November 14th, 2005

First off, just wanna wish all the STPM candidates this year..especially Mel, Huoy Feng and my cousin brother good luck in answering their papers today and the coming days

Last week was such a great week as I had the chance of meeting up with Farah & the Farahnatics 2 days in a row. Farah’s open house was on Thursday and surprise birthday party, which she had no idea being planned, was the next day.

Before I left the house, it was raining cats and dogs. Gotta pick up priest from Taman Paramount station too. As I was to swerve into the junction, standing under the rain was priest, soaking wet. Aiyoh..didn’t know he was that anxious such as this to actually run out in the rain instead of sheltering in the station. Along the LDP highway, traffic was so bad that we got stuck in the jam for half an hour..with the rain this heavy, that adds on more to the problem we were already facing. We missed a few minor turnings here and there before we arrived in front of the doorstep of her white bungalow at the corner. When we car, priest was expressing some disatisfaction regarding Dennis Chua, the journalist for Malay Mail with an extremely weird attitude who goes to every Idol he sees and says,"*Insert any Idol name here* wishes you a good luck in your career blah blah…" Gosh..that sounded so insane..you don’t just go to every Idol and say that same old sentence every time you start a conversation, do you? Mike Chin, a fan member who doesn’t seem to differ very much too. Priest said he looked to much like a geek and can’t stand the sight of him. They both got on his nerves LOL.  What a surprise we received when they both came for the her open house! We Atilia who was one of the earliest to arrive talking to her relatives, we said hi to her. Saw Fareesya at the other end and said hi to her. She told us to sit at the table at near the food, where Dennis & Mike had already occupied. "Omg..why them? Can we sit other place ah?" "Can’tlah guys, other tables are all booked, that table is specially for you." And we went frowning..till our eyebrows bent all the way down LOL. Just couldn’t stand their attitudelah..

More and more people started coming, the usual gang..Kai Ma, Kai Yeh, Ostrova, Michael, Teng, Yumi, Farahnatics Aris, Estra, Ulee, Detnelat, Arjuna and his sister. Idols Jac, Rydee, Sufiah, Zamil, Ash & assistant Moe, Faizull, Ejay, Azam came too. Even AF’s Aidil & Amylea, some audition finalists which I have no idea what’s their name, Mentor host Johan and Fo3’s member Iwan were visible. Basically, it’s more like an open house for celebrities LOL.

Ostro, Yumi, priest, Fareesya & I got in the kitchen to prepare Farah’s birthday cake (banana chocolate cake FYI). Even though her actual birthday’s tomorrow, we got 2 cakes prepared for both occasions. Before we could get the cake out, the lower layer of the cake had been accidentally smuged. Ostro tried to touch it up a little and I guess everyone was too excited..everyone started sliming the cake towards each other’s faces LOL….

As priest carried the cake out to the porch slowly, me recording from behind, we started singing Happy Birthday to Farah. She gave a short speech, thanks to everyone who turned up. Then I realised it wasn’t just Farah’s birthday that she wanted to celebrate. Forummer Li Huey happened to have her birthday on that too..(though technically Farah’s was the next day). So we all sang them both the Happy Birthday song and priest took out the candles except one..which is for Farah to suck it out (hehe at the same time smacking her to the cake). Obviously Farah knew it too well and she hesitant for sometime..fear being smacked. In the end, it didn’t happened and she manage to extract it out in one fine piece..only some cream below her chin LOL.

We were the few ones to leave her house, having looting in front of her gate but none of us budge as we chatted and chatted. Priest & I were one of the last ones to finally leave as Farah & her family needed the rest for the night.

Chicken Little in the morning & Raya Realiti show at night

Saturday, November 12th, 2005

Whoa..a long stretch of weekend since I last blogged..was rather busy the whole week going out LOL..

About 11 plus, went to pick up Dina, Kanesh and his ever so tall brother (surprises you when he tells you how old he only is). We decided 1 U again as there have 2 options of TGV or GSC in case either one went full. Of course, who doesn’t fancy new environment, new ground. Dina was having thoughts of watching Corpse Bride but in the end, we still stuck to original plan. While waiting for the show, Kanesh brough a really portable digicam..and we played with it like little kids..snapping pictures at the corner.

Some spoilers here..I love when Abby & Runt sang Spice Girls’ Wannabe..LMAO..that was one of the most memorable scene ever..and that War Of the Worlds parody towards the end came out a little silly as expected.

I tried to look for a present before we get lunch. Tried looking at accessory shops around the area. There’s one located at the end, with pink decorations all over it. Dina & Kanesh refused to enter..which of course I don’t blame them cos the shops had girly stuffs which me myself rather uneasy to enter LOL..But for Farah’s birthday sake, gotta take the risk. What I had in mind was a blue butterfly necklace of some sort..maybe she’ll like it since I noticed Farah’s designs are associated with a little butterfly by the side. I couldn’t find any suitable for her. I checked for more gift shops around. There’s one shop which has a some nice-looking lockets but unfortunately no butterfly design but a dragonfly. Went to Jusco and have a look..was getting pressures from Dina and the rest cos I took too long to find that special thing for Farah. Then I noticed at the counter of the left, there’s a row of jeweleries being displayed and there it is..a blue butterfly necklace..the perfect gift for her. One small problem though..the butterfly’s blue wasn’t exactly Farah’s favourite; blue water mineral cap. Ah..couldn’t have any more longer thoughts..price is lower than my max budget and it looked to be perfect enough..only not the exact colour though..and Vincci sounds very branded stuff LOL.

Had lunch at Burger King. Dina was suggesting of planning some trips to any of the northen islands or maybe a barbeque session at one of our houses. That would be great if we can start getting people to agree. We hung around till 5pm before we left to get some tea-snack at a restaurant named Grand City in Section 14. We ordered a really sweet-tasting kuih..which dang..I forgot the name again..sorry XD. I had to bite small pieces of it one at a time as the burger we had earlier on hasn’t finished digesting..plus to the fact this kuih was so sweet it makes the process even difficult..if you know what I meant LOL.

Sent them home respectively about 6 plus, had a little rest before I took my bath to go for the Raya Realiti show at Angkasapuri. It’s show for RTM which basically invites all the reality shows in this country such as MI, AF, Mentor, Audition, Both Astros Wah Lai Toi (Chinese) & Vanaavil (Indian) Talent Quest and of course their very own Bintang RTM. Surprisingly Who Will Win was missed out. Probably they’re way too many versions of it.

Went to priest’ house for dinner. Gave me a shock when we wore his dad’s batik LOL..the show stated to wear something formal but not that formal right..

I’ve never been there so needed priest to guide the way since he’s been for once. Surpassed through 2 tolls before we arrived. The main entrance to Angkasapuri lead us to the auditorium where the recording session’s being done live, Met the Farahnatics, Aris and his bros..tak sangka combined with the pinkies o_0..was wondering where Ostrova & the gang are. Later we moved all the way up no to interfere with the pinkies. Can’t imagine how their reactions forgone when Daniel appears LOL. Aiyah..couldnt ask my mum to record in time as they had asked us to switch off our hps. Show started with introducing all the singers..mostly winners and runners-up of their respective shows. For MI, the top 3 are present. And honestly the MI fans turn out were much more than expected compared to the AF fans. Pinkies were awfully lot seated near the stage while Mawi’s fans are hardly seen (Maybe the fact that he wasn’t there..LOL..better..wouldn’t wanna see his bloody fans mobbed down the whole auditorium). For AF, they only had Aidil, Akma & Amylea..not even deaftone Felix was there..probably back in Sabah with Marsha I guess.

The best applause for the night was Astro Vanaavil Talent Quest’s Jerry John..whoa his upbeat Devuda Devuda had the entire crowd hyped up..cos it was so energetic.totally rawked the auditorium. Then, somewhere in the midst, Farah & Nita did 3 duet numbers namely I Will Survive, Save The Last Dance and On The Radio. Was kinda hoping they each did solo but 3 songs in a row is more than satisfactory. As usual, both Farah & Nita looked ever stunning in their outfits. Well, the centre of the night was obviously Daniel and his screaming fans..someone even brought 2 banners that were used from the spectaculars..shows how much supportive his fans are. Before the show ended Astro Wah Lai Toi’s Talent Quest winner Kwok Fai and finalist Chee Ming, who awkwardly looked so much like Saiful of MI..I thought he came pula LOL. They both sang Lao Shu Ai Da Mi, HF’s favourite song hehe..and the gals goes crazy over them again…

The show ended rather late. Everyone was hoping to get Daniel, Nita & Farah posing for their picture but they never showed up. Many left disappointed but LOL shouldn’t be a problem as I’m sure many so they had so many taken in the earlier functions.

Me & Yin. Was really surprised they didn’t invite her to sing in the show. After all, she’s the runner-up of ATQ (She was also last year’s MI Wildcard contender) and she did us proud by coming up runner-up too in the Hong Kong International New Artist Award.
