Happy National Day!

Wednesday, August 31st, 2005

Yes, it’s our 48th ‘anniversary’ freedom from ‘illegal’ rulers LOL. Anyway, let’s just shout again "HAPPY MERDEKA MY BELOVED MALAYSIA" :D

Anyway, saw Adam who was eliminated this week on MI 2 and Xerra on 8TV celebrity chat just now. Attempted to send 3 messages through but none got any confirmation from the other side. What happened?? I just wasted 45 cents for that man!!

And speaking of Adam’s outburst confession in the bulehyppo forum, wow..I think he went too far calling Faizull and Ash hypocrites, it’s public man. Both of their fans are gonna double their votes for them for that statement, and it leaves my dear Farah even in a worse condition. Gals have been bottom too many times although there are so many fans of her out there but the guys are always dominating the votes. These people vote like crazy or what??? Many supported his actions of coming out truely (no one knowslah) but there will be the ones who will question his intention of letting the public knows. True or not, only he himself knows. But surprisingly the next day, he wrote an apology letter in the forum about his confession. Even some asked the same question during the chat this afternoon but he totally didn’t want to give any further comments. Possibly he could have gotten an advice from the 8TV crew for his action.

Caught The Cave at Pyramid later in the evening. Pretty much your typical horror action-packed. You explored the cave, something sinister inside and one by one the members of expedition team dies…YAWN. A really B- horror flick movie. Won’t say it was bad till you pull the drapes but the storylines and the ending were rather… predictable…really.

Jeff Timmons and Idols at KLCC

Tuesday, August 30th, 2005

Had a great fun meeting up with Jeff and The Final 6 last Saturday. It’s a good thing I went. Really, I was rather reluctant at first, one thing because I wasn’t in the mood (you know the incident) and second, I had no company. But Mel wanted me to meet and take Jeff’s autograph so much that I couldn’t say no LOL. Yeah, Jeff is really a buff and handsome guy. I would die to have his looks, but not his heightlah LOL. I called up MI forummer Kok Hou to meet up at KLCC.

I was expecting a really large crowd, but turned out to be so-so. Obviously a bunch Daniel fans there. We were handed out Johnson’s Clean & Clear My Idol pads which you can write draw creatively your Idols and wave it when the show commences later LOL.

Jien got the crowd enthusiatic by warming up the screams of our respective Idols. LOL the loudest were definitely Daniel and Farah(LOL my sweetie XD). LOL our gang were actually competing against a group of fanatic Daniel fans to see who can shout the longest and loudest. Really, it was so much fun, gives you the satisfaction ;D.

Before the Idols went on stage, last season’s Top 5 Saiful sang for us. He belted the famous F4 song made famous by Harlem Yu which is translated into Malay entitle Ku Juga Mencintaimu. The song’s not bad. Suited his voice. First up was Ash. He sang the song he did on Rock Week, With Or Without You. What’s bothering is the circuit board kept tripping, making them start over and over again. Hell of annoyance. Second was Nita, followed by Farah who sang Aku Hanya Pendatang (darn..I was hoping for her to sing Don’t Let Go cos she was so hot in that performance :D)

Can’t really remember the placings after that but Adam sang Seribu Impian, Daniel sang Kini Bebas and lastly Faizull sang the English song anyone can bearly make out LOL. Once the show was over, we went up the stage to get autographs.

We then rushed over to Tower Records to meet up with Jeff. The hype in there was exactly what you expect like from the Idols, nevertheless people still queue up till outside to get his autograph. I had to purchase his CD to get the autograph and 2 free posters. Manage to take a pic of him and a pic of me and Arnieza hehe.

Mel’s gonna be so happy I got her messaged send across. In the end, she got her poster with the encrypmentt "To Melissa with Love, Jeff". Aww..she must be so in tears now…;)

Be wiser

Tuesday, August 30th, 2005

Yeah, haven’t been blogging for a while, excuse me. Was rather tired these few days. Now that I’ve ended my temp job, I can finally sit down and blog in peace LOL.

Last Friday, I lost RM400 gullibly to 2 salesperson. I have no idea what was I thinking seriously at that time when they tempted me with those attractive prizes (They have tickets to fly to Korea which my mum wanted it). So regretted it, I know better than this to trust those things, and yet here I am falling directly into their booby trap.

Here’s the scenario; first this gal salesperson approached me, telling me that if I scratch the ticket in her hands and if there’s something under, I am entitled to win something. So I scratched, and turned out there is indeed something under. She then called her partner in, that I won something.. this and that, which I couldn’t make out very clear.

Her partner arrived, started explaining what I’m about to win next if I scratched again and if there’s something under it as well. I scratched and there were numbers behind them, which matches to the prize I’ve won; a hand massager. Hey, but that’s not it. Nothing comes free in this world. You don’t just got approached by some unknown, scratch something and win something for free man. The prize is bounded in a way that it comes with a vaccuum cleaner which costs (RM1999! Honestly why didn’t I question them on how can a vaccuum cleaner be that expensive!!). The condition is, I have to find them 2 customers to purchase their product in order to get the vaccuum cleaner completely free withing 2 years. If I don’t, I’d have to pay for the exact amount.

I told them, I don’t know if anybody is willing to buy a vaccuum cleaner within 2 days and this is what they said, they are willing to settle the customers for me in 10 days time. The condition is; I pay them RM400 as deposit. I didn’t bring that much cash with me, so they asked if I could withdraw money somewhere nearby and I told them there is a bank nearby. I was really reluctant at first seriously, but I just don’t understand in the end why I still gave in. Am really frustrated till today. When I got home, I got totally screwed by my parents.

Well, all I can do is take it as a real good lesson to me, that I shouldn’t be so naive and gullible with all these sales gimmick. Sigh.

Had dinner with Ka Ken, Kanesh and his brother, Mano and Siva at Lotus in State later that day but wasn’t paying much attention to the conversation at all. Sigh.

Was expecting to meet Pey Tsei tomorrow but seriously Cheras is like 1 hours drive and I don’t know very well the route to got there. Moreover, we both end our work at about 7, half exhausted then gotta drive all the way to a place I’m not in familiar..sei lor LOL. Anyway we’ve discussed it that we’ll try to meet at the end of the month.

Screw it

WTH..my blog has been freaking screwed up..I can’t have access to it decently. Can only view my last posts but not the rest. So I’ve decided to change the layout of it and when I got back in, total white screen. Friendster can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

Bottom 3…all gals!!

Sunday, August 21st, 2005

Sometimes I wonder what the heck do the voters think out there..placing all 3 gals in the bottom >:/. Nita was far by the best this week, so was Farah. Xerra..I could at least understood cos they were some not really nice comments about her overall..What the hell were the guys still doing there?? Really..this show bukan main frust it makes me..seeing gals one by one going off.

Daniel was lucky he did well this week (hgn..gals must be doubling amount of votes for him) I don’t get about Ash and Faizull..the more I see them the more I’m getting bored..I know Faizull has a stong fan base out there..with him shedding tears last Friday..even more sympathy votes..Now Ash is really conspiracy here..I just don’t know which party is voting for him..it’s like Andrew..big big questionaire no one could answer..

Anyway, I’m channeling all my votes to Farah, she’s the only one deserving at this point. We can’t afford to lose her..if not, the show has totally lost it’s intention of exploring a true superstar.

Oh..and this is for you, Mel. I don’t know if your intentions of giving me a silent treatment until when, but I’ve said my apologies and if you think it’s not enough, then I don’t know what else to do. We’ve been best friends for a year and if you decide to end it over a minor, petty issue, just isn’t worth it. That’s all I’ve gotta say.

Clear sky again..

Thank god the haze got off by Sat. Even nicer when it rained on Sunday..Ah..the breath of fresh air in sight.

Anyway back to MI 2, Ejay got voted off..aww..I feel bad for her..she reminds me of Nikki from MI 1, bold enough to choose songs that are challenging but it didn’t turn out well. Anyway her job is still waiting for her so all the best in whatever she’ll opt. You will be remembered.

Haze is back

Wednesday, August 10th, 2005

OMG..the haze today was awful. Even way worse than yesterday. Air Pollution Index at Klang hit 420 at 5pm. Terrible. 500 and they’ll officially declare it ‘darurat’. When I was in the shop the entire time, the vision was barely clear. So many people were seen wearing mask but not me myself..I had to inhale the bad air for hours..by the end of the day..throat getting really uncomfortable..experiencing a little breathing difficulty more so.

What I can’t stand is some imbeciles  actually had the decency to light a cigarrette now even with the current situation. The air is bad enough, you don’t have to make matters worst than ever. How inconsiderate can these people get?

MI 2….Azam voted off

Sunday, August 7th, 2005

Yeah, the Jon Johnson lookalike was booted off today. Felt sorry for him, his style of songs for the past 2 weeks was too nostalgic which he made him leave today. Honestly, I thought he had the package of a star and potential singer in the future. Only problem was, he isn’t fluent in English. Anyway, good luck in your undertakings Azam. May you succeed in your career in the future.

Mawi won AF 3…BIG DEAL MAN!

Sunday, August 7th, 2005

Wtf is with Mawi and his psychotic world??! Got sicked with press and news mentioning about him. People worshipping him as a Tuhan or something?? Smapai tudung Mawi, kuih Mawi pun ade? Peh… Yeah, so swept all 3 bloody awards (best vocal, best performer blah blah blah) as well as emerging the champion of Akedemi Fantasia, I don’t see him as a great singer at all. Only partly good entertainer. Man, this guy is so overrated, and it makes AF 3 so f*king overrated. Hated it. Arrghh!! There..my frustration finally came off. Malaysian Idol is so much better. Call me bias, I don’t care.

Akademi Fantasia SUCKS BIG TIME!!!
